Just a few weeks before Coachella 2017 ……the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival has decided to sue Urban Outfitters. According to the lawsuit revealed by WWD, Free People (Urban Outfitter’s parent company), is selling merchandise using the Coachella brand without permission. The products under scrutiny are the “Coachella Boot,” “Coachella Mini Dress,” “Coachella Pocket Tank” and “Coachella Valley Tunic.”
Representatives of Urban Outfitters and Coachella have no comment as of today regarding the lawsuit.
